Stacey will help you navigate your grief journey in a forward-focused way, identifying a roadmap for your life that not only helps you honor your lost loved one but also to assign purpose to your profound loss. Together, we will identify what you wish for in life and one step at a time, we will discover ways to move forward and bring your loved one along on the journey. Understanding that everyone's grief experience is unique and complex, Stacey's methods focus on helping you identify areas where you're "stuck" and what feels right to you moving forward. The goal is to take back control in your life when grief has become too overwhelming. Grief coaching is not intended to replace conventional mental health counseling, rather to enhance and take action toward your life's vision post-loss.

Stacey's mother, Kris Fenton Siwek was a wife, mother of two, fine artist and author. After a dear family friend died suddenly, Kris struggled to find words to comfort his 6-year-old son and help him process his dad's death. She wrote and illustrated a book titled What You Are Never Stops and dreamed of publishing the book to help children around the world come to terms with the death of a close loved one. Sadly, before she could publish the book, Kris herself passed away at the young age of 42, leaving behind two teenaged children who were burdened by the same loss she so eloquently wrote about in her book. After years of struggling to find purpose in her grief, Kris's daughter, Stacey, finally brought the book to life and Caterpillars Can't Talk: A Children's Story about Love Loss and Transformation was lovingly published.
NBC Affiliate program WAVE Country in Louisville, KY interviews Stacey Siwek Sassine who just published her Mother’s best-selling children’s book, “Caterpillars Can’t Talk” -- 40 years after it was written and 30 years after the author’s death. This beautifully written and illustrated book is about the delicate topic of death and grief, and was written for children and families.
